Hey there!
You can call me South,
although nobody calls me like that!

Here is a little space I've created tο communicate
pictures, sounds, and thoughts that come to mind,
as I see, here, feel and experience the world around me.

As a researcher on Musicology reading occupies the greatest part of my days,
and in that sense thinking and reflecting
keeps my mind and imagination moving regardless of time and space.
Physically however I live between Athens and Berlin,
where the majority of the pictures posted here come from.
I consider them both home but I always cry tears of joy
as the airplane approaches the Greek coastlines.
Quite often I get to discover hidden secrets and places
that give me a good reasons to return there again and again.
All those little things that wake or calm the senses
and set the mind free.

I live simply, almost minimal.
I find convenience in my hours of loneliness,
while I do appreciate people with a witty sense of humor.

So just take the time and pause for a while,
hear those pretty birds singing,
taste the air and feel with your fingertips
the softness of the velvet rose blossoms!
